Styles to Cherish

When I was designing the styles to launch on our new website, one of the main priorities was to sell pieces that would tie in with what you already own. We looked at this from a customer investment perspective (we would always like our customers to feel like they are buying a product that will be worn time and time again) and from an environmental angle (when our clothing is cherished, taken care of and worn repeatedly, it becomes directly intertwined with the buy less, buy better ethos that we stand for).   

Our decision to focus on selling directly to our customers was also impacted by our desire to always prioritise quality over quantity. Our wish was to create something curated - not an abundance of styles, but a handful of select pieces. Beautiful styles that you can wear across different occasions and seasons. Styles to be worn freely in summer or layered with chunky knits and boots come the cooler months.

One of the aspects I love most about our designs is the fabric that we use. We collaborate with sustainable fabric mills in the UK and Europe to source fabrics that not only feel lovely to wear but also limit the impact on the environment. Our signature fabric is a silk satin and crepe in a weight usually reserved for couture and it drapes so beautifully across the body. 

Every fabric we use has been designed in-house and we always incorporate something special. We adore texture and aim for our fabrics to be incredibly tactile and gentle. The silk we use has a beautiful sand-washed effect giving it the feel of velvetly peach skin, the viscose has a faint jacquard stripe behind the delicate print, and the cotton has been softly crushed. All barely visible until the style is in your hands. 

On our website you will find twelve beautiful styles that can all be made in a selection of hand dyed colours ~ black and white for a classic feel along with cinnamon, nude pink and pale gold.
